Morningside Acupuncture clinic on the Upper West Side of Manhattan

Your First Visit Includes a Full Evaluation and Treatment

We don't do rushed first appointments. Your initial visit includes a comprehensive evaluation where we assess your pain history, movement patterns, and goals, followed by your first treatment in the same session.

  1. Comprehensive Evaluation We take time to understand your pain history, movement patterns, and what you've already tried. No clipboard questionnaires and a quick once-over. We listen first.
  2. Targeted Treatment Based on your evaluation, you receive a customized combination of acupuncture, dry needling, and myofascial release focused on your specific condition.
  3. Your Treatment Plan Before you leave, we outline a clear plan: what we found, how we'll address it, and how many sessions we recommend. No vague promises, no endless treatment plans.

Real Results for Real People

From marathon runners to physical therapists, over 500 patients have left five-star reviews.

★★★★★

"As a physical therapist, I've been referring runners to Morningside for years. When I started having intense back spasm pain, I decided it was my turn to get some help. Teddy makes sure you're comfortable and explains every aspect of the process. The best part is my pain was relieved within that day! If you're a marathon runner or all around active individual, Morningside is the place to go."

"I started going to support my training recovery, and we do dry needling and acupuncture in the same session. I'll be honest, I don't like needles. But Marina is so gentle and accommodating that it's never been an issue. Every session feels personalized to what my body actually needs that week, not a one-size-fits-all treatment. If you're active, stressed, or honestly just both, book with Marina."

"I worked with Nick leading up to the Berlin Marathon and they really helped my nagging adductor pain. They listened thoroughly to my concerns and then discussed in detail their treatment plan. As a physical therapist it is really important to incorporate acupuncture into the rehab process. I will always keep Morningside in mind when rehabbing an injury of my own or if it would benefit any of my patients."

"I'd been having persistent calf and achilles pain following an ankle sprain. After one visit with Marina, I was able to run pain free for the first time in 6 months. A couple of follow ups, and I'm finally able to ramp up mileage again. Save yourself the existential despair and go see them."
